Lyon boutique exhibition
The Lyon-based graphic designer/illustrator SLip has been working on the diversion of images and decontextualization for quite some time. The possibility of working around the theme 'new wave' as part of a Kulte collaboration immediately interested him. He thus presents on the walls of our Lyon boutique (16 rue Paul Chenavard, 1st) from Friday September 17 to Friday December 31, 2010, photomontages but also cyanotypes made by hand (a process that he particularly likes, giving the montages authenticity and stamp). His images notably divert cult scenes from new wave films by replacing the actors and actresses with their headless doubles as well as a gallery of very sixties characters.
