At Kulte, we don't believe in fast fashion. Wearing less, but better—that also means taking care of your clothes so they last. This guide gives you our simple and effective tips for caring for your t-shirts, sweatshirts, caps, and accessories without altering their cut, colors, or prints.
🧽 1. Wash at a low temperature: good for the planet, good for your clothes
Washing at 30°C is perfectly sufficient for most textiles. This helps preserve the fibers, prevents shrinkage, and reduces energy consumption. All our products are designed to last, provided they are treated with care.
🌀 2. Turn clothes inside out before washing
To protect printed or embroidered designs, it is advisable to turn your clothes inside out before each wash. This reduces friction and keeps colors vibrant for longer.
🧺 3. Opt for a gentle spin cycle and avoid the tumble dryer
Excessive spinning damages the fibers and distorts the garment. Tumble drying, on the other hand, should be avoided: it weakens the seams and shrinks cotton, even organic cotton. Instead, dry flat or on a hanger in the open air.
✋ 4. For caps and accessories: opt for localized cleaning.
Kulte caps should be washed by hand or with a damp cloth and a little mild soap. Avoid immersing them, especially models with printed or embroidered designs.
♻️ 5. Don't throw it away, repair (or resell) it
Need to sew on a button, or have a small tear? It's better to repair than replace. And if you no longer wear an item, consider buying secondhand: our resale platform is here for that.
A Kulte garment is made to last. By following these few simple steps, you extend the life of your pieces, limit your environmental impact, and contribute to a more conscious fashion industry.
